MISSION Aviation Fellowship pilot Ryan Koher, who was arrested in Mozambique four months ago, has posted an update through a video on his situation. Last week, we reported that he is out on a provisional bail.
An update from MAF on March 22, 2023 said: “Ryan has been enjoying his newfound freedom this past week and he shared a message with his coworkers…
“He has been to a doctor for a checkup and also met with the U.S. Ambassador to Mozambique and some of his staff. They remain engaged with the case since Ryan is out on a provisional release.
“Ryan has returned to his home in Nampula where he will wait for the judicial process to move forward on his case.
In the 51 second video, Ryan is heard thanking God and all those who prayed for him. He hopes God will be glorified in the situation.
The transcript of the video:
“Hey everyone.
It’s great to be sitting here making this video with you. The last few months have been quite a challenging time for me and my family and I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all of your prayers and support for me and my family through this time. It has definitely made a difference and the Lord has definitely answered your prayers and He’s continuing to stand by us through this trial. So, I just want to encourage you to continue praying for us that this trial will come to a quick and favorable resolution and I would be able to reunite with my family soon. Most of all the Lord be glorified in this whole situation. Other than that I am doing well here and we hope to see you soon. Thank you.” Watch the video here.
Please continue to pray that the case will be quickly dismissed and that Ryan is granted a full release, and that he can be reunited with his family soon.
