WHEN fear seizes you, when confusion prevails, when you lose your loved one, what do you do or where do you turn to? Some take to binge drinking to drown their sorrows, while others lock themselves up at home or simply wallow in self pity. Rob Holt took a different route – the path to the cross.

Inspirational photographer Rob E. Holt leads readers to the cross in his new book, ‘Views of Calvary: A Photographer’s Perspective of the Cross Through the Lens of Scripture‘.

Not long after losing his wife to cancer, Rob found a lonely 12-foot white wooden cross on a remote hill. This quickly became a secret and sacred place that Rob returned to many times over a two- year period, to both photograph the cross and to meditate upon the message of the cross.

Views of Calvary boldly but gently declares the steadfastness and stability of the cross in a chaotic and unstable world. Featuring 31 divinely diverse images of a singular cross, each cross image is accompanied with a devotional inspired by the title of each image. Rob has penned all the devotionals in the book.
