AMONG the religious minorities languishing in Iranian prisons is America citizen and Christian pastor Saeed Abedini, who has spent more than two years behind bars for allegedly proselytizing in Iran.

VAHID Hakkani is held in Abel-Abad prison in the southwestern Shiraz city, outside the capital Tehran, after being found guilty of "attending a house-church, spreading Christianity, having contact with foreign [Christian] ministries".
