Prayer in the time of a pandemic

DURING this season of the Coronavirus and the resulting havoc of public health, deaths, economic, and world stability, I have altered from presenting my customary Middle East analytic material to include a subject that is an utmost priority. Prayer.

Throughout this terrible virus pandemic, prayer is one weapon that anyone, and many worldwide, either separately or jointly, can immediately request to God our Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, to exterminate the virus, alleviate, protect, and heal, in this time of crisis.

The Bible says that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous produces much (James 5:16), and Matthew 18:20, where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I Am (The Lord) in the midst of them. Based on Matthew 18:20, ponder the power, if there were thousand and millions praying in synchronized, unison.

There is no need to wait and read my article, act and pray what is in your heart.

Howbeit, in this article I will write about the following: prayer as an indescribable entity, the beginning of prayer, the Divine association, communication and process with man and woman, application today, behavior, instructions and prayer preparation and attributes, God’s plan and His examination of us, Satan’s anticipated malevolent countering and deceit in our time (Satan wants the complete opposite of God), are we prepared for prophetic super-pandemics, planet-scale hunger, harsher earthquakes, troubling signs in the skies, and continuous wars and civil wars, are we spiritually equipped if the gruesome Beast (anti-christ) appears today, and the growing satanic metamorphous threat to our teen and younger generation. I also highly recommend reading or re-reading “The no-God fad Part One and Two” in The Christian Messenger as a valuable appendage and reinforcement.

Furthermore it is vital, don’t let the constant debates on when the Rapture will occur, cloud your focus. Life on earth will go from bad to worse before the Great Tribulation, predominantly if the Coronavirus is an indication of the things to come.

Prayer, is a monumental, powerful, mysterious, yet supernatural phenomenon that is utilized in conjunction with sheer faith. A separate study in its own right, nevertheless arguably not generally necessary since prayer is based on faith, not knowledge (except for a desire or awareness of God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit).

However, prayer is almost impossible to fully describe as its initial foundation for the Judeo-Christian believer was Divine. Beginning with what we understand was straightforward and effortless talking; God with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8). And famously, God and Moses. Along with revealing Himself to Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and 70 of Israel’s elders, who saw God on Heaven’s paved ‘sapphire stone’, eating and drinking, and most importantly, God did not destroy them (Exodus 24:9-11).

Therefore, whether hearing God or Jesus out loud, such as Moses, young Samuel in bed (1 Samuel 3:4-11) or a vengeful Saul or Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts (9:3-7). In a vision as God spoke to Abram and Israel (Jacob) in Genesis 15:1 and Genesis 46:2, or in Spirit, as King David experienced in 2 Samuel 23:1-3. Or Isaac meditating in the field in Genesis 24:63.

Just the same, our prayers or worship can be vocal, they can be silent, meditation, or in our thoughts or spirit to God and Jesus, whom as well wish us to worship in spirit (John 4:23-24). Or speaking, as additionally illustrated by instructions from Jesus on how to pray (Luke 11:1-4), further explaining in Luke 11:5-13, and repeated in Matthew 7:7-11, the magnitude and influence of prayer. And, instructions and extra on behavior in prayer in Matthew 6:5-15. Moreover, the Spirit of the Lord knows and searches our hearts and minds. He knows before we ask what we need (Matthew 6:8), and  in Romans 8:26-27, there is no deceit to God or Jesus.

The Bible is saturated with famous, answered prayers. Two of the (numerous) most prolific, nonetheless potentially horrifying, was Daniel’s Godly shield in the lion’s den (Daniel 6:16-24), and Elijah’s prayer to God which resulted in terrifying and destructive fire from heaven (1 Kings 18:22-40).

Subsequently, how does this apply to our time?

Actually, prayer should not have, or ever, go out of style for any time in history or future. And, maybe it hasn’t. We should ALWAYS pray and talk silently with God. Nonstop would be ideal.

But, this is where faith, relationship with the Lord, and many times coupled with obedience (and forgiveness of sins), becomes a factor. Likewise, sometimes it was not merely the prayer subject – but who was praying, and their uncorrupted relationship with the Lord.

Throughout current time and past history individuals have called out for prayers. Even worldwide prayers to counter war, hunger and pestilence.

Although, be truthful with yourself; do you have a solid relationship with the Lord? Do you believe God and Jesus Christ will answer prayer if there is a known, continual, outstanding sin, no remorse, and no heart and soul sinful behavioral change? Are you humble before the Lord?

He might answer prayer, but rock-solid faith and getting our relationship in line with the Lord is Scripturally sound in receiving effective outcomes.

Do you thank God and Jesus Christ for (every) answered prayer, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant?

Plus, do you have the faith that God and Jesus Christ will answer prayer? For example, do you a close-personal relationship with the Lord? Do you have the absolutely unwavering blind faith and boldness, for a God rarely seen, of someone like Daniel or Elijah in their exact circumstances?

Reading behavioral essentials that are associated with prayer scripture, before prayer, might be a good idea. Random order Scripture such as; Matthew 6, Psalm 100, 1 John 5, Mark 11:22-26, James 4, James 5, Hebrews 4, Philippians 4:4-9, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Proverbs 15:8 & 29, Romans 12:2, Romans 8, John 15:7 and 1 John 5:14-15, among several others.

Sometimes though, fasting is required with prayer or as a corroboration. As in the case of the deaf and dumb spirit (Mark 9:25 and Mark 9:28-29). And, the prophetess, Anna, serving God with fasting and prayer (Luke 2:36-37), and Cornelius, the Roman Centurion (Acts 10:30), early church elders, and others.

Then, there is God’s will and His plan. We should pray and wholly expect prayer to be answered, But bear in mind God has His own design and agenda of total creation, the earth, and us. Remember, Stephen, full of faith and power and of the Holy Ghost, it was his time to die and all his holy attributes did not save him from dying. Read how many times Paul prayed for relief from the ‘thorn-in-the-flesh’. The Lord’s reply was “My grace is sufficient for thee”. Keep in mind the Lord may assess us while we are waiting for a response or exam our actions after His answer, or no-answer, to prayer.

Meanwhile, God might withhold and test our patience, resolve and faith. This is another concrete reason why our relationship with the Lord must be pure and not confused or overly question our Sovereign Lord’s decision on unanswered prayers we, and others experience. Careful not to blunder ahead like King Saul, going to the witch of Endor to seek advice from Samuel’s spirit, rather than waiting for God (1 Samuel 28:7).

Hearken to scripture, modern false prophets and deceitful satanic workers can obscure interpretations, direction and answers, and Satan can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) with a ‘false answer to prayer’ while we are waiting for the Lord’s true answer to prayer. Our Christian scuffles are not always with flesh and blood, but with powers, principalities, spiritual wickedness of high places, and the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12).

In spite of that, I want to make it unadulterated, unyielding and firmly clear in this article – Almighty God and Creator, His Son, Jesus  Christ and the Holy Spirit are the most powerful ‘beings and non-beings’ in existence, above all creation and non-creation; above everything. Particularly above Satan, his angels, spirits, satanic creatures and the (controversial) satanic bloodline (my mailing list readers, readers of my book, The Theogonic Resurrections, and The Christian Messenger readers of my article The no-God fad, will recognize this and the next few paragraph’s corresponding parallels and tones).

In addition, based on Ephesians 6:12, I will take this prayer exploration study one step beyond – know the enemies.

Equivalent to the phrase, wolf in sheep’s clothing, it is argued that Satan has his own bloodline on this earth as revealed in the story of Tares and Wheat (Matthew 13:24-30). An enemy that long ago sowed tares that grew intertwined with the wheat which will only be separated in the ‘end days’ as to not ‘root up the wheat with it’. Anyone that gardens and such know how close weeds are to flowers, fruits and vegetables. In fact if interpreted accurately, it is a startling realization that the tares are so close and intimate with the wheat. Which is another reason our relationship with God, Christ and the Holy Spirit must be untainted. As these potential satanic individuals cannot and never will be saved no matter what they do. Because they are directly from Satan’s own bloodline, and  are permanently contaminated and cursed of God. Supplementary suggestive scripture is when the Lord says, not everyone who calls me Lord, despite wonderful works and miracles in My Name, shall enter heaven. Professing instead, I, The Lord, – never knew you (Matthew 7:21-23).

At the same time observing ancient texts, Satan, including himself, has his fallen angels, spirits, and demented worldly and unworldly creatures, persistently ravaging our world via the paranormal. While Satan’s utterly committed, human, priest, priestess, and worshipers of evil, are relentlessly praying and constantly performing frenzied and vile sacrificing, hexing, satanic miracles, deceiving, and illusions. Along with bewilderment, of the alleged satanic induced strong delusion, the satanic-inbred-alien. Everything Satan and satanic-related is bent on trying to destroy and disrupt God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, His Creation, and those representing God, His saints, followers, worshipers, the Bible and His commands.

Take special note as Jesus began each of His statements, (Matthew 24:5, Mark 13:5 and Luke 21:8), of end times prophecy with warnings of, don’t be deceived! The supernatural shall again appear on earth. It has not happened yet, at least not in the magnitude of the Bible descriptions, but scripture promises – it is coming!

I repeat, don’t let the debates on when the Rapture will occur obscure your focus. Life on earth will get of worse before the Great Tribulation.

So, I ask again. Are we prepared for super-pandemics, widespread hunger, proliferated wars, harsher earthquakes, troubling signs in the skies, and the Beast and False Prophet, if it all appears tomorrow spoken by Daniel, and in Revelation written by John?

Let us not be unaware, and be ready, for the Lord God and our Creator is allowing Satan to get stronger, hence, wreaking more and more world chaos; it is written, it shall be done.

For example, if events in Revelation happen in chronological order, or the order written in the chapters, then the four colored horses in Revelation 6, known as the four riders of the apocalypse, might be some of the first prophecy-astonishing  pandemonium we will experience. The horseman will be given power to kill a fourth part of the earth with sword, hunger, death and beasts.

Consider Daniel, one of the mightiest prayer warriors, had to wait many days for his vision to be physically, although heavenly, interpreted; as the prince (angel) of Persia, withstood God’s messenger. God’s messenger, who then, was assisted by the chief prince (archangel), Michael (Daniel 10:13).

Together with Daniel, and nearly every other biblical person, they fainted, lost strength, couldn’t stand up, move or talk without assistance from the beings sent by God. If those righteous people in the Bible couldn’t handle it, how are we contemporary people, most who have never experienced anything supernatural, going to survive when prophecy and the fearsome satanic creatures reappear, trying to imprison, torture and kill us in excruciating methods. This is no fairy tale or myth but Biblical truth. The paranormal, supernatural, angels, spirits, creatures, the Beast, the False Prophet, and Satan will be openly here one day.

In fact, we might be about to enter ‘the beginning of sorrows’ or already in it (Matthew 24:6-12).

Keep in mind at this time, there will be marvelous and wonderful deeds and answers to our prayers (Matthew 24:13-14). At the same time, unanswered prayers. Events in this world will eventually deteriorate drastically for God fearing people, His elect, and His saints. I cannot emphasis enough; don’t let disputes on Rapture timing shroud your focus. Life on earth WILL get worse before the Rapture and Great Tribulation.

Today’s reality, is it purportedly rapidly morphing into the ‘perfect storm’ for Satan and his powers to be reestablished, his powers believed (satanic faith), and exploited into the mainstream. Based on the increase of acceptance, curiosity and participation of anything satanic and satanic linked. Satan’s scheme is accelerating. A progressively amplified, direct concurrence with environment, demographics, events, behavior, and conditions of satanic-interconnected books, gaming, TV and film specifically engulfing the younger and unsupervised young audiences. The young, who don’t know any better, are ripe, and in many cases eager, for deep, inclusive, satanic conversion. Who someday soon will be the Biblical prophecy’s, false prophets, counterfeit miracle workers, deceivers, showing great signs and wonders, and servants of Satan, the Beast (more commonly known as the anti-christ), and the False Prophet.

But all is not lost. Not yet by a long shot. And it is the Christian duty to diligently prepare, putting on all the amour of God, in order to work, pray, fast, and fight against the satanic tide and beyond until we are Raptured, or until the ‘end days’ fall upon the earth. Consider, the current Coronavirus pandemic may be the Lord’s warning or test to see if we will get ready.

Pray to the Lord to give you faith. Address any sin, ask forgiveness, talk to the Lord, and remember to thank Him, always. Seek out local God-fearing and men and women and their communities. Also, search out local Godly ministers and churches.

I end with John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
