Axis Bank reported a profit of Rs.432 crore for September quarter, a 35.51% year-n-year jump. The bank’s net interest income or the core income a bank earns by giving loans rose marginally by 0.5% to Rs.4,539 crore.
However, its gross bad loans as a percentage of total loans rose to 5.9$ from 5.03% in the previous quarter.
