For the past few months, we have been working closely with a group of children in a slum in Chennai.

Rehoboth is a glimpse of what God can do for you! It’s to encourage you in your journey. But, don’t stop there yet. Go to Beersheba where there is an altar, where God would appear and reconfirm the covenant, where you will call on the Name of the Lord, where the enemies will make peace with you, where you will find reward and rest.

Dear brother / sister, are you a channel of love? Or are you a blocked channel like the church at Ephesus? Are you a channel of blessings? Or is your channel blocked due to selfishness and avarice for money?

If, like Jonah, you have not yielded yourself to God’s will even after knowing it well, I beseech you to submit yourself in the presence of the Lord. Do not forget that your peace can only be found in His will and your wellbeing is assured only in His hands.

Charles Spurgeon the great orator once said in one of his sermons that the wedding garment is a distinguishing mark of grace, a symbol of respect for the king, a sign of honour for the Prince and an attire that conforms to the requirements of the occasion.

When everybody saw the pitiable situation of the man with the withered hand, Jesus saw his glorious future. When everybody thought the man with the withered hand had nothing to look forward to in life, Jesus saw what he could become.

Child of God, when you look at your life you see only the abnormality of your circumstances. The impossibility of the situations may make you balk and go weak in your knees, but remember there is a God who changes the patterns to make your abnormal, normal.

WHEN God’s Spirit moved in and through Paul many unusual miracles occurred. It reached a point where the physical presence of Paul was not required for a miracle anymore. When they brought an apron or a handkerchief from him and lay it on the sick, diseases left them and evil spirits went out of their bodies.

THE raven was sent out much before the dove. While the dove found out that she could not rest anywhere on earth, she returned to the ark. What was the raven doing then? The conditions that applied to the dove applied to the raven as well. But the raven kept going and to and fro.

Don’t underestimate the power of God at work in your life. It can turn your life upside down; it can make you a world-changer because the resurrection of Christ was a game-changer in the history of mankind.
