The Director of Finance will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the National Director (ND) & the Board. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop Finance team to excel in financial management, business planning and budgeting. The Director of Finance will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as World Vision India continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity. Principal Responsibilities: Lead Financial Planning and Budgeting process, Measuring and Monitoring business performance, Formulate creative solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and efficiency, Manage financial resources, develop & implement fraud control strategy; Determine & Manage enterprise risk exposure strategy, Monitor financial activities & operations, Implement & maintain internal control procedures, Mentorship of the Finance Team & Business Process Improvement.
Core Competencies: Ability to formulate & implement financial policies in alignment with (GAAP) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, achieve quality results and services, Capable of providing necessary direction and guidelines to preparation of long-term & annual budgets. Building collaborative relationships internally and externally and support the National Director in planning, managing & protecting resources/assets of the organisation, motivating and developing teams of financial and non-financial employees & Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications: Masters Degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration with a Chartered Accountancy Qualification along with at least 15 years of hands on experience in managing finance & accounting of major NGOs/Corporates with a minimum of 10 years at leadership level.
