"He still misses her every day and looks forward to seeing her again one day. It wasn't perfect — but I do think they had a marriage made in heaven," Franklin says.

RUTH Graham felt ashamed, humiliated and she feared condemnation over her divorce. She felt she had failed herself, her family, her parents -- one of whom happens to be the most well-known evangelist in the world -- and God.

TENG, who translated for Graham during the famed evangelist's first preaching tour of China in 1988, died peacefully on December 19 in a Hong Kong hospital. He was 91.

“I never expected I would live this long, outliving my beloved wife, Ruth, as well as many friends and loved ones,” Graham said last week. “I believe God must still have a purpose for keeping me here, and I look forward to seeing what that might be.”

WHEN she finished a section describing the terrible downward spiral of our nation’s moral standards and the idolatry of worshiping false gods such as technology and sex, she startled me by exclaiming, “If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.”

IN the book, Graham writes that he looks forward to death because he's eager to be reunited with his wife. In the meantime, he appreciates the "touches of Ruth" in each room of his house.
