For decades, Egypt’s Copts have felt discriminated against by the country’s Muslims, and assaults against them have intensified since the 2011 revolution — part of the Arab Spring uprisings — that ousted President Hosni Mubarak.

A bomb explosion in the Coptic Christian cathedral complex in the Egyptian capital Cairo has killed at least 25 people, officials told the BBC.

ON Friday evening at 8 pm an angry mob of 300 men carrying various weapons attacked seven Coptic houses of Copts. They tore down the houses and stole and destroyed the contents.

"This filthy blood is what awaits you, in revenge for Camelia and her sisters," said a caption on the video. The video ends with an image of the Christians' blood flowing in the Mediterranean Sea.

EGYPTIAN security officials say gunmen have killed two policemen who were guarding a Coptic Christian church south of Cairo.

Dr. Ali el-Samman, President of International Union for Intercultural and Interfaith Dialogue and Peace Education (ADIC) in Egypt is warning that Egyptian law does not adequately protect Copts with the future stability of the state hanging in the balance.

AN Iranian convert from Islam to Christianity has been sentenced to a decade in prison for proselytizing, the Christian news network Agenzia Fides reports. The man, Mohammed-Hadi “Mostafa” Bordbar, was officially charged with “crimes against state security.”

I say “non-Christian” because for many reasons, Christian culture looks down on them. They have not been considered traditional Christian behaviors.
