Lord, help us finish well!

The Bible declares that “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19.

How about some intentional encouragement today?

Whilst I struggle to stay focused, I daily choose to intentionally encourage myself through prayer and meditation on God’s faithfulness in the past, present and expectation for the future.

Do you want to be made whole?

From my personal experience, some of us really do not desire to be made whole because the process requires confronting the issues that keep us in bondage.

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength

To be joyful requires an intentional state of mind. Remembering that Jesus is our source of joy here on earth and better still, in eternity to come.

Enjoying Our Waiting Season

Embrace and retain an eternal perspective

As followers of Jesus Christ, the Bible gives us the word of hope and comfort that should motivate us to embrace and retain an eternal perspective. We find it in Philippians 3:20-21.

Bearing fruit

As I reexamine my Christian walk with this definition in mind, I realized how ignorant I was and knew that I had to start by asking for forgiveness of my sins and choose to intentionally begin the process of bearing fruit with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Is it a need or a want?

Christ follower, I encourage you to prioritize your needs over your wants today and watch your God, who can make a way where there is no way, meet your needs.
