MY dear brothers and sisters, will you pray with me for Kashmir, one of the hot spots in the world today?
Jammu & Kashmir, an integral part of India, has always been under attack by enemies from within and outside.
I urge you to pray with me for the Kashmir valley, where once terrorism thrived due to support from a country inimical to the secular fabric of India. I don’t know about your nationality, but I know one thing: if you are a redeemed child of God you will understand the value of peace in life.
Let us pray for seven types of healing for our land Kashmir because Jesus heals us.
1. Physical Healing: O Father, we pray that you will heal our people and animals from AIDS, brain fever, diabetes, jaundice and other sickness .Keep us safe from every sickness caused by the weather. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
2. Mental Healing: O Lord, we acknowledge that our thoughts are unclean and detestable. We ask you to forgive all of us Kashmiris and heal our minds. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
3. Emotional Healing: God our Father, please heal our emotions. This land is sad. People are committing suicides. Some of them take their own lives in the name of jihad. Heal this Kashmir valley. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
4. Spiritual Healing: O Father, change the spiritual atmosphere of the land. Give us a new heart and new spirit .We acknowledge our sins. Give us new spiritual life. May the eyes of our heart be opened.In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
5. Social Healing: O Lord, You have made us all equal from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. But we are now divided by the caste, creed and color. There is oppression of women and children. Heal us from this social leprosy which only you can do. Heal our Muslim society. We pray in Jesus Name.
6. Healing of relationships: Heal our relationships, we pray. Families are breaking up. There is strife and tension between neighbors and communities. It is only in Your love that we can love each other. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
7. Healing of the land: O Father, our land is cursed because of our sins. That is why the land does not yield much. There is famine and floods and militancy. Even the animals give less milk. Today, we acknowledge our sins and turn from our wicked ways – we ask your pardon. According to Your Word heal our land. May our crops and cattle increase. Save this land from famine and floods and other neighboring countries. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
