Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
IF we believe that God is our judge we must also know that He has a law book by which He judges. If He is our King, then we must learn the Kingdom principles that have been given us.
The principles of His Kingdom are all given for our benefit. That’s why God told Joshua this in Josh 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Living by the Book of books, the Bible, is the only way to guiltless success in this world. On the other hand, the success of the world is tainted by the blood of the innocent, poor, and the powerless.
Living according to the Scriptures do not just give us temporal success: it also makes us worthy of living with the King of kings forever. Amen anybody?
