Satyarthi Sahu was born in Orissa and worked with World Vision of India, Chennai, for over 20 years. Before joining World Vision, he worked as a warden in Midway Home on the outskirts of Kolkata. Sahu was able to counsel several inmates at the home. Once a self-willed and rebellious individual himself, Sahu understood their needs. He taught them from the insights he had gained into the human nature from the book of Proverbs and the Psalms (the Wisdom of God and the power of praise). It worked! Many of the inmates accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and their lives were changed. |

Sarah Sahu
grew up in Chennai. She completed her Master’s
in Philosophy. She joined World Vision in Chennai
and worked there for 28 years. Her experience
in the Department of Child Sponsorships gave her
ample opportunities to interact and counsel with
staff and sponsors. She believes that all of life’s
problems can be resolved only through and within
the Word. |
